Now that we are well into summer, there's nothing like sitting on the porch in the evening and enjoy a nice aromatic cocktail, chilled and flavorful. We have been humbled by the many cocktail recipes we have been receiving from our fans, who've been using Citrus' Chian Tangerine Spread in every form possible. We already posted the recipe for the award winning Renaissance Cocktail by Chian mixologists Giannis and Christos, and shared a Chian tangerine champagne cocktail from food bloggers, The Perks of Being Us, who live in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Our latest take on a Chian tangerine cocktail uses vodka, triple sec and, of course, Citrus' Chian Tangerine Spread. It was sent to us by our fav Christiane Lobo and last week we perfected the art of it and wanted to share with you. If you have a little Chian tangerine spread or even a bit of the marmalade in your fridge, resist the urge to put it on your toast it and give this cocktail a try.
1 1/2 ounce of your vodka or gin of choice
1/2 ounce of triple sec
Put all the ingredients in a tin shaker. Add a few ice cubes and shake, shake, shake.
Fill a tall glass with ice, pour the drink and top off with soda water.
Alternatively (our choice), shake with lots of ice, strain it and serve in a martini glass. Enjoy!
