This award-winning, traditional marmalade is inspired by the unique citrus fruits brought centuries ago to the island of Chios by the Venetians. It is handmade using the unique variety of Chian Mandarin, a product of Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). Its especially bold aroma and flavor are more pronounced than the typical clementine tangerines we know in the States. Importantly, there are no preservatives, additives, artificial flavors nor colorants.
We love this Chian Tangerine Marmalade as an all-natural refreshing touch on our morning toast, croissants, crepes and pancakes. Ideal to mix with oatmeal or yogurt. Its tangy flavor makes it an especially unique topping for cheesecakes, flan, panna cotta, in between layered cakes…even in a PB&J! Try it instead of the usual quince jam with your aged cheese and fine wine.
