Traveling to Greece: Mount Olympus, the home of Zeus and Sideritis!

We have a magical Greek Postcard for you this week, featuring Mount Olympus, the home of Zeus and Sideritis! I won't elaborate on the 12 ancient Gods of Greece but I will tell you about this divine herb called Sideritis, aka ironwort orGreek Mountain Tea (we Greeks call it tsai tou vounoú). Sideritis grows throughout the Greek mountains but finding it on Mount Olympus makes it especially magical. The leaves & flowers are often sold on the sides of winding roads by local villagers and they make an amazingly flavorful and healthy infusion. Most people drink it in the winter but it's great cold, too. We often say that it's ouryiayia's and pappou's secret to longevity!

Our Greek grandparents keep their vitality by keeping active, socializing with friends & family, and sipping this wonderful brew.Start your own "blue zone" effect by discovering our signatureGreek herbal teas that have plenty of Greek Mountain Tea in them! Feel strong and healthy again...and hopefully you can climb the paths of Mount Olympus some day!
