Traveling to Greece: The hidden gem of Karpathos

I really don't like talking about the well-known touristy islands like Mykonos - I'd much rather be your local Greek guide and let you know about the hidden gems of my country...like the island of Kárpathos!

Kárpathos, is the second largest of the Greek Dodecanese islands, in the southeastern Aegean Sea, and it's definitely worth a visit! Its turquoise waters will fascinate you, while a boat trip from Diafani to Saria, a remote and uninhabited small island, will make you feel like you are in paradise. Just the sea, the sun, and whoever you chose to bring with you...or not! When the boat trip ends, put on your hiking shoes and start walking through the dry river of Diafani to the breathtaking mountain top village of Ólymbos.

If you ever go to Kárpathos or have been there before, tag us @zelosgreekartisan on Instagram so we can share your beautiful moments with Zelos' family! Until then, enjoy a little taste of Greece from the comfort of your home with our carefully selected artisanal products (hidden gems, remember?!).
