A classic Greek breakfast, this dish is as simple as it is satisfying. Greek yogurt is rich in protein and probiotics, making it a healthy choice to kickstart your day.
1 cup of Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons of Greek honey
A handful of walnuts, chopped
Optional: Fresh fruits like figs, berries, or banana slices or dried fruits like dried figs, raisins etc
Spoon the Greek yogurt into a bowl. Drizzle honey over the top. Sprinkle your chopped walnuts and fruit of choice on top.
This Mediterranean twist on the popular avocado toast incorporates the tangy flavor of Greek feta cheese.
1 ripe avocado
2 slices of whole-grain bread
2 ounces of feta cheese, crumbled
A drizzle of Tragano Greek Organics Extra Virgin Olive Oil
A teaspoon of the Herbs & Lemon Zest Greek Seasoning from Sparoza
Salt and pepper to taste
Toast the whole-grain bread until golden brown.
Mash the avocado and spread it evenly over the toast.
Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top.
Drizzle with olive oil, and season with herbs, salt, and pepper.
Serve immediately for a savory and filling breakfast.
This flavorful omelette brings together some of Greece’s best ingredients for a quick and hearty breakfast.
3 large eggs
1/4 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup of Tragano Greek Organics Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
2 ounces of feta cheese, crumbled
1 tablespoon of Tragano Greek Organics Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Fresh oregano or basil for garnish
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper.
Pour the eggs into the skillet, and let them cook for a minute.
Sprinkle the tomatoes, olives, and feta over the eggs.
Cook until the eggs are set, then fold the omelette in half.
Garnish with fresh oregano or basil and serve with whole-grain bread or a simple salad.
