Do you have a few leftover Capia peppers and wonder what to do with them? Mix them with feta cheese and create a flavorful and tasty mousse, a real conversation starter! The mousse has a robust taste on its own, but if you want to spice it up even more, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper in the blender. If you want something milder than feta, try goat cheese or even cream cheese for a mellower taste.
3-4 Tragano Greek Organics Capia peppers
1 cup feta crumbles
1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1/2 cup hot water
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
a pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Put the capia peppers, feta crumbles, and sour cream in a blender.
Dilute the gelatin in the hot water and add to the blender.
Mix well until you’ll get a smooth texture.
Pour everything into a mold and put in the refrigerator overnight to settle.
Serve with pita chips or crackers.
ENJOY!
