Many Ikarians live over 90 years, 10 years longer than the average in the much of Europe and the US. According to medical research, the inhabitants live so long thanks to the following factors:

  1. Mediterranean diet
  2. No stress
  3. Agricultural work(out)
  4. Social connections
  5. Creative activities...and of course, dance
